Yes and it is a great time of year to tour! The Highlands are covered in snow, the cities are bustling with concerts and theatre, Scotland moves with the seasons and any time of year is a great time of year to visit. The only exception is if you are planning to head to the Isle of Skye or the Shetland Islands – winter can make travel here a bit of a challenge.
No, if you are booking a tour with a vehicle, you will get a private guide and separate driver – this means you can maximise what you see in the time allocated, be dropped right outside the sites with no need to waste time looking for parking.
We sure do! Our cities and towns are easily walked – so provided there is some basic mobility and fitness, a private walking tour is a great way to experience the culture here. If you are concerned about weather or traveling longer distances into the countryside, then a vehicle would be a welcome addition.
