As of 2023, it costs £27 for a standard adult ticket to visit Westminster Abbey. For students and people over the age of 65+ tickets cost £24, for children 6 to 17 £12, and for children under 6 it’s free.
Additionally, if you join the Abbey Association, then you can get free entrance tickets to Westminster Abbey alongside other benefits.
While the price might seem expensive, it’s well worth it considering the level of history the building holds, the fact it’s self-supporting, and it is one of the most famous places in London you can visit.
That said, it’s worth noting that if you purchase your ticket online, you can upgrade your ticket to an annual ticket free of charge, meaning that you can visit Westminster Abbey up to three times in one year for the price of one visit.
3. What Is The Best Time To Visit Westminster Abbey?
The best time to visit Westminster Abbey will largely depend on your reasons for wanting to visit it.
